In her lifetime, a single female honeybee produces just 5 drops of honey—about 1/12 of a teaspoon—despite visiting millions of flowers. To produce 1 kg of honey, bees need to visit an astonishing 4 million blossoms. Needless to say, every drop is precious.

We are extremely frugal about harvesting honey, always prioritizing the health and well-being of our hives. While our bees pasture in organic environments, we do not claim our honey to be “organic” since we cannot control where they choose to forage.

In a perfect season, a single bee produces just five precious drops of honey in her lifetime—roughly 1/12 of a teaspoon. Knowing this, we are incredibly mindful about harvesting, taking only what our bees can spare to ensure their health and vitality.

While our hives are pastured in organic landscapes, bees follow their instincts, exploring far and wide. Because we respect their freedom, we don’t label our honey “organic”—but we can promise it’s as pure, natural, and vibrant as a spring morning.

Stock is always limited, but when we have honey, it’s nothing short of fan-uber-tastic! Enjoy it drizzled over pancakes, stirred into tea, or straight from the jar—sunshine in every spoonful.
